Happy Valentine's Day and Being Busy Bees
Happy Valentine's Day. I shot these last month and I LOVE the photos so much. I only wish Harriette would have participated a little more. I love my Valentines. We are all ready for tomorrow - Pixie Stix for the 1st graders. Mini granola bars for the preschoolers. Phineas and Ferb Valentines.
Above: Molly & Harriette after a birthday party. There have been many so far this year which is one of the many reasons why I haven't updated in a while. This was after Lily's 7th b-day. It was a tiki theme and there were a lot of kiddos screaming.

The girls started swim lessons again. The Belmont Pool has been closed for forever. Another mama on the Mom Group I belong to was offering few month of lessons at Water Safe School in Seal Beach. We thought we'd give it a try. Molly does well no matter what but as you know Harriette had had some trouble. Not this time - a "girl" instructor and private lessons did it for her. She loves it. It's crazy expensive so I don't think we can continue after the month is up but we know what to look for next time for Miss H. Her teacher is Christina and she love her. It's an outdoor pool with a permanent enclosure around it.
Last week Molly was selected by her teacher Miss Watten to read her a story she wrote at Open Mic Night at Barnes and Noble. She was amazing. We are all so proud of her! Her story was about her accomplishment of "riding the the bars".

Earlier in February Molly attended the famous Library Nights at school. The theme was Camp Ketterongo. They had tents set up, a scat scavenger hunt, camp theme bookmark making, sing a long and of course you get to check out books! These events are amazing. I hung up the "sky" in the hallway and put up the stars. I help out at the school whenever I have a chance. It's not as often as I like but I'm lucky to be able to do what I can. I'm in Molly's classroom every Thursday as a VIP (very important parent).
In December Molly earned an award for the character trait of the month - CARING.

My sister had her baby on October 18, 2011. The girls finally got to meet their cousin for Christmas! They were in love with her! It was a fast and furious weekend and the best shots I got were of Brian holding his only niece before he left for work after Christmas. Now I need to go up to visit asap so I can take more pics of our Adeline! Doesn't my sis look great!?
